Responsibilities:

• Responsible in performing month end close duties as it relates to manufacturing variance reporting, inventory valuation and COGS analysis.
• Approve product costing daily and set standards quarterly.
• Tracks $70M in monthly spending to assure that it is being properly accounted for, validate purchase price variance and proper expensing upon consumption.
• Ensure all perpetual inventory system activity is properly reflected in the general ledger for new/future activities
• Conduct 404 and SOX compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
• Three (3) to Five (5) years experience performing cost accounting/manufacturing Finance functions at a manufacturing entity, with Three (3+) years management experience
• Proven record of being a solid performer with strong leadership, excellent work ethics and dedication to success
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with upper management and cross functional groups, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Advance Microsoft Excel (hookup and pivot tables) and Access skills (creating queries from scratch). Working knowledge of SAP
• Project management experience is a plus
