Business Development is the heart and soul of our engineering firm. While some firms/businesses have none or little differentiation between marketing and business development, we believe that business development's core process lies in identifying opportunities, developing relationships and securing profitable work for the firm. The Business Development Associate’s main functions are:

  • To seek business for the firm; could be market specific depending on orders of the principals
  • Able to make commitments for the firm with directions from superiors and under previously established guidelines
  • Able to spend time outside the firm wisely by making and establishing contacts
  • Must be well organized in tracking Business Development Opportunities via PIPEDRIVE or equivalent
  • Ability to research and gather information on potential client and project is an important skill.
  • Able to schedule meeting with new/existing clients to discover project information
  • Can develop and maintain strong business network in our industry
  • Participate in client organization and socials
  • Work with technical staff/superiors to develop proposals, scopes of works, and estimate
  • Able to close proposals with any type of prospective client overseas and local clients
  • Can meet quarterly and annual strategic and financial targets developed and approved by the principals with minimum supervision

SKILL SET:

  • Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the firm’s practice, clientele, goals, policies and procedure
  • Professional demeanor that enables the person to interact with the highest levels both inside and outside the firm
  • Strong business management skills
  • Excellent organizational and strategic skills that enables meet the financial and strategic targets the firm may require of him.
  • Follow up through in a consistent manner
  • Has the ability to sell ideas and products and has the highest level of persuasion skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Advertising/Media, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Must have an existing valuable network/clientele in the real estate, architecture, engineering and construction industry.
  • Required skill(s): Fluent in English (written & oral), MS Excel, MS Office, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Required language(s): English, Filipino, Cebuano
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Cavite City, Cavite.
  • Has a proven track record in closing deals and achieving sales quota for service oriented firms with a minimum of 40 million pesos per annum or better.
  • High level of work ethics and trustworthiness.
  • Able to put the interest, goals and welfare of the firm on top of his priorities
  • Persistent (can handle client rejection), goal oriented, result oriented and highly professional
  • Knowledgeable in Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) terminology and delivery methods
  • Highly competent in marketing theory, business administration and practical sales knowledge for service oriented firms
  • Good market understanding and firm grasp on pricing strategy
  • Must be able to interact with prospective clients, decision makers, and top executives effectively
  • Strong persuasion skills.
  • Has at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales and business development works from local or international A/E/C firms
  • Able to work under pressure to meet weekly and quarterly deadlines
  • Result oriented candidates with high level of competencies to work within a dynamic team towards achieving remarkable result are a perfect fit
  • Willing to be trained and can render overtime
