HMO CLERK

  • EDUCATION: Graduate of any Course.
  • EXPERIENCE: At least ONE year experience in Clerical Works.
  • INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Entertain queries of HMO cardholders

Coordinates with the doctors about the exact diagnoses for Laboratory request for HMO approval

Informs Coordinator about the admission

Coordinates with the OIC and Billing staff about LOA and coverage

  • EFFORT
  • MENTAL EFFORT:

Makes letter/ proposal and send to different company and HMO with approval of the Department

Process bills of all HMO

Monitor accounts receivables of different HMOs

Do the monthly census

Seek approval from the HMO

  • WORKING CONDITION AND HAZARDS:

Exposure to communicable disease

Provide the exact bills for submission to HMO

Monitors accounts receivables of different HMOs

Informs the HMO for their admission for CARD's coverage

  • PHYSICAL EFFORT

Follow-up accreditation proposal and set meeting between the company’s authorized representative and Industrial Head.

Notifies company about admission

Encode all OUT-PATIENT & IN- PATIENT for bill

Provide patient the necessary forms for consultation

Follow- up/ collect receivables from HMO

Explain to patients the coverage of their card

  • INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS

Coordinates with the HMO office for laboratory approval

Coordinates with LO of each HMO for pick up of bills & LOA

Provide cardholders necessary forms

Coordinates with OIC and Biller before patients discharge

  • RESPONSIBILITY
  • IMPACT ON OPERATIONS

Send exact bills to each HMO

Monitor unpaid accounts

Notifies HMO for admission to know the coverage of their card

Entertain all patients queries.
