Qualification:
• Preferably Ph.D. or M.S (with Ph.D. units earned) in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgical/Mining/Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledgeable with Silcon Fabrication Process for Integrated Circuits (Memory and Logic circuits); Chemical processes in relation to Silicon fabrication.
• A sufficient theoretical background on electron microscopy, materials analysis, and device physics is necessary.
• Must be able and willing to work with equipment such as SEM. Familiarity and knowledge of Transmission Electron Microscopy will be a plus. Good sample preparation skills such as mechanical and chemcal polishing and preparation.
• Leadership and Communication skills is a must.
• Physical Failure Analysis Engineer: Provide expert advice on materials properties and its role in the electrical properties and physics of semiconductor devices; chemical processes Familiar and knowledgable with Transmission Electron Microscopy, a sufficient background on electron microscopy, materials analysis, and device physics. Good sample preparation skills .
