Job Description:
Act as support for applications services users in all areas relating to production application support. Provides end-user ad hoc requirements within a core application environment which may include query reporting assistance on use of the system. Provides the support necessary to allow the users to effectively use the data provided by core application products (i.e., ad hoc queries, problem assessment and resolution). May also provide some level of testing. Provides planning assistance. Recommends customer support policies/guidelines, and enhanced services or capabilities. Provide a leadership role within the development team to insure specifications are adhered to and deliverables align with business needs and opportunities. Provide a framework to drive the integration of business data, function, and systems. Plans and schedules work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks. Uses judgement in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes.-The person will be responsible for implementing automation security infrastructure (Network Isolation, Process Equipment Segmentation, NT EOL)together with the ITMC MCIS Experts/PMs to provide on call 24x7 support (troubleshooting, repair and virus crisis management) to ensure maximum infrastructure uptime to support critical automation systems. The person will also be responsible for customer and stakeholder management and various engineering activities like proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, spare parts management, system upgrade, configuration & testing, performance benchmarking/improvement, vendor management and keeping the infrastructure compliant with Intel software security policies. BSc or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering in general. Grade level will be decided on academic qualification and relevant experience in IT/Automation role. Experience in IT/Automation infrastructure (eg. Network Security, Unix, Win2K, VMS, NetApps server, HP/Compaq server, SAN, Alpha server or ATL backup etc) is a must. MCSE is preferred. Experience in factory/manufacturing automation and customer service will be an added advantage. Has strong passion for operation excellence and delivering customer solutions. Good interpersonal skills.
Qualification:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): IT Automation/Security Infrastrucure(Unix, win2k, etc).
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Cavite.
